Half of Cherished Wedding

Hi all. Hope everyong is OK? Isn’t this rioting scary? Hope things are put to a stop soon!

I know it’s been a while since my lost post. I seem to have… delayed in my posting. I don’t understand why.

Anyway, half of Cherished Wedding is now completed. All I really have left to do for the that half is write the names on. But I am planning on leaving that til last. I started on the second half today. I was going to start yesterday but then I saw a few stains on the fabric, so I took it of the frame and dapped some luke warm water on it. There is still some stain left on it but hopefully (fingers crossed) most of the stain will be covered up with the stitching. I will try and use the luke warm water again to get out the remains of the stain.

I got a new camera not so long ago and I have been very keen in taking pictures almost everyday ever since! I have joined up a site called 365 Project and it’s fun. What I like most about the camera is that I can now take pictures of my cross stitch close up without the image going blurry.

But what am I going to do with the photos afterwards? Just leave them on the PC/storage device? I’ve got loads on my storage device that I really need to do something with. Art Jounarling is now coming into my life, and that’s the perfect way to make use of the photos. I’ve got three pages made up with a background, all I need to do now is print of the images and stick them on the page. I’m going to be here for a while!

Here is one of my completed pages:

And here’s a page that needed the pictures (and now has, since I took this picture before hand)

I do perfer the muted look of the page. So I think I’m going to head in that direction…

Thank you for your lovely comments and I will try to update more often!

Thanks for looking…
